The Living Room was established in 2011 by the Freedom Centre Church as a small outreach centre to the local homeless and those in need by providing non perishable food items and incidentals along with a friendly conversation and a coffee to show support and care to our local community.
The Living Room is fully self sufficient and remains open by the generosity of the local community providing donations of non perishable food and personal hygiene items as well as financial gifts.
Our local congregation members, Lynda and Judy donate their time and efforts in running The Living Room every Wednesday and Thursday. These ladies have been a friend to many over the years and have partnered with other local members to help donate Christmas hampers to those in need in the community.
A financial donation to The Living room can be made using the detail below. Non perishable food and personal hygiene items can be dropped off to The Living Room on Wednesday and Thursday between 10am – 2pm or contact Koren for a drop off point if outside of these hours.
