The Freedom Centre is a family based church which began over 20 years ago with a few families meeting in the home of Jeffrey & Carol Fazl, our founding pastors. Initially known as The Richmond Vineyard Christian Fellowship until 2014, when we changed our name to the Freedom Centre. Jeffrey and Carol semi-retired and moved down to Healesville in Melbourne, Victoria, where they continue in community with our partner church Freedom Centre Healesville.

In 2018 Koren & Rodney were commissioned as the senior pastors and have faithfully served the Freedom Centre for more than 16 years and continue to carry the mission of Freedom Centre, “To honour God in community and relationship, improving the quality of life for people”.

Dedicated parents to three beautiful children, they have a devotion for Jesus, His Kingdom, family and the people in the local community. They are passionate about leading a family based church, where people can come and ‘just be themselves’.

We are a community of people who love God passionately and seek to know Him and follow His voice going deeper into the extravagance of His love by living as God’s representatives and ambassadors for the kingdom, bringing heaven to earth.

Freedom Centre aims to be a very real place to meet with God and to experience His love, mercy and freedom. Establishing a loving and caring environment with friendships and community with Jesus at the centre makes way for transparency, vulnerability and acceptance.

Allowing and encouraging people to have no facades but instead come as they are and allow God’s presence, power and love to heal and restore them.

We are a church that embraces building and deepening friendships with each other. We ‘do life together’, creating an atmosphere of love, family and acceptance, encouraging one another to live in freedom by pushing through and partnering with Jesus to walk into the purpose, fullness and freedom that He has for each of us.

Freedom Centre is a church which emphasises worshipping Jesus, relationship, healing, deliverance, training, equipping and making disciples where everyone gets to play and do all that has been commanded for us to do.
